T-RAIN / PRODUCT GUIDE

Rainwear care: cleaning, drying and storage

Start with the garment’s own care label and technical instructions. PVC or PU alone does not determine how to wash it: lining, reflective details and integrated boots can also affect the care requirements.

Read the care label before cleaning

Check the model code and read the washing, temperature, drying and ironing symbols individually. Follow the instructions for that product rather than transferring a method from another model. If a treatment is not covered, ask for guidance with the model details.

  • Check the specified washing method and temperature.
  • Read the drying and ironing symbols separately.
  • Consider all parts of the garment, not only the outer fabric.

Inspect the garment after use

Look over fastenings, cuffs, seams or welded joins, straps and any boot connections. If you find a tear or separation, assess the damage before continuing to use the garment. Include the model code, damage location and a photograph when asking for advice.

Follow the storage and repair instructions

Follow the specified drying and storage method. Models with different linings or coatings can require different care. Confirm that a repair method is suitable before using adhesive, heat or another treatment.

If the care label is unreadable, send the product name, model code and any available photographs to the sales team. Identifying the model helps us answer care questions more precisely.
