Understanding Taslan fabric in waders
Separate upper fabric, boot material and unknown fabric mass in TKC-1050 and Taslan chest waders without adding unconfirmed properties.
Quick answer
T-Rain Taslan models list Taslan as the upper fabric. Fabric mass has not yet been supplied. PVC or PU can describe the boot component and does not establish measured upper-fabric performance.
Do not infer performance from a fabric name
Do not derive composition percentages, coating type, hydrostatic head or breathability from the name Taslan. Ask for current data for the selected model when a specification needs these fields. Recording an unknown figure as zero is also wrong; it remains awaiting confirmation.
Inspect the model’s own construction
TKC-1050 is a separate-leg hip wader; THK and STHK codes identify chest waders. Height, attachments and boot construction therefore create different selection questions. Even with the same fabric name, evaluate fit and coverage separately.

- State product type, model code and boot size together.

Can I use a PVC model’s fabric mass for Taslan?
No. Another model’s value cannot be transferred to Taslan fabric. Current model data is required.
