Why boot material and upper fabric are separate fields
Read the components of garments with integrated boots. Separate product names and technical fields using Taslan uppers with PU boots as an example.
Quick answer
Boots and upper fabric are separate material fields in an integrated-boot garment. “PU boots” does not mean the whole garment uses PU fabric. Component-level data is essential to a valid comparison.
A single material label can be incomplete
On THK-1010, the uppers are Taslan and the boots are PU. Upper fabric mass remains unknown. If a quotation says “PU waders”, ask which component it means and match the code. This prevents confusion between rainwear fabric and boot material.
Check the connection and size separately
A component list does not describe every property of the connection. Inspect the boot-to-upper join in images and on a sample, and record garment dimensions separately from boot size. Request evidence for required sole, slip or chemical-resistance properties rather than inferring them from material names.

Does PVC establish a certified slip-resistant sole?
No. A material name alone does not establish a particular sole test or classification.
