What if the catalogue and product page differ?
Understand source priority between current T-Rain product pages, model TDS documents and the historical general catalogue.
Quick answer
Current product pages and model TDS documents take priority over the historical general catalogue. Request written confirmation for any conflicting field affecting an order instead of combining figures from different sources.
The old catalogue is a reference; the current model is active
The catalogue can contain models no longer offered or earlier fabric-mass figures. Do not assume a catalogue photograph remains an active option. Open the model in the current product list, select colour and code, then inspect its technical data sheet.
Make the discrepancy specific
Rather than forwarding an entire catalogue, identify the conflicting field and sources: code, earlier value, current value and required use are a useful starting point. Retaining the revision used for a quotation prevents the same ambiguity in repeat orders.
- Verify the active code and image in the product list.
- Attach the current TDS to the quotation record.
Current model data and technical sources
This table uses the same data as product pages and model TDS documents. Fabric mass is in g/m², not finished product weight. Missing fields require confirmation.
