T-RAIN / PRODUCT GUIDE
When a rainwear zip or fastening is difficult to use
Check fastening flaps, trapped underlayers and visible damage separately. Describe the issue by model and image instead of forcing the zip.
Quick answer
If a fastening resists, first check for trapped clothing or flaps. Record visible damage and avoid forcing the zip or applying chemicals without product instructions.
Separate fit tension from fastening problems
Tension from a tight garment is not simply a zip problem. Check layers and body fit. Zip-front garments and snap-front Stay Dry have different inspection points; do not apply a single solution to all fastenings.
Record position and operating condition
Show whether the issue occurs at the start, middle or a particular tooth. Include code and whole-product view as well as a close-up. Repair or replacement methods depend on model and issue; a guide does not make a warranty decision.
- Check for trapped fabric and visible damage.
- Record the issue location with the model code.
