How to read welded and sewn rainwear joins
Read Y-7600’s high-frequency welding information by model. Do not identify join methods conclusively from photographs alone.
Quick answer
Welding and stitching are different joining methods. High-frequency welding is documented for Y-7600. Do not automatically apply that information to other products with a similar appearance.
Confirm joins from the model’s technical record
A photograph can show edges and connections but may not establish the method or test result. Ask by code if the TDS does not list joining details. An apparently seam-free finish does not mean the garment is a single piece or that every join uses the same method.
Record the visual sample inspection
If a join has an opening, irregular edge or visible damage, photograph its location. Do not call that inspection a standard water-resistance test. Specify required joining details in the quotation and match the sample to the ordered model.
- Request joining-method information by model code.
- Keep visual observations separate from test results.
Current model data and technical sources
This table uses the same data as product pages and model TDS documents. Fabric mass is in g/m², not finished product weight. Missing fields require confirmation.
| Model / collection | Materials and fabric mass | Sizes / packing | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Y-7600 | Fabric: PVC-coated fabric · 400 g/m² | XS–3XL 20 units | Model TDS Care instructions |
| BT-1300 | Fabric: PVC-coated fabric · 400 g/m² | XS–3XL 10 units | Model TDS Care instructions |
| ÇBT-1200 | Fabric: PVC-coated fabric · 400 g/m² | 40–46 5 units | Model TDS Care instructions |
Does welding establish that the whole garment was tested?
No. Manufacturing method and performance testing are separate kinds of information.
