Zip-front or pullover rainsuit?

Compare dressing sequence, neck opening and cuff fit on FT-2000 and BT-series tops using samples.

Quick answer

FT-2000 has a zip-front jacket and trousers; the BT series has pullover tops and trousers. Start with how the top goes on over working clothes before comparing fabric mass.

Dressing sequence and the neck opening

For a pullover, check clearance for the head, glasses and underlayer collar. For a jacket, assess access to the zip and placement of the fastening flap. Try changing in a clean, safe area in your usual clothes and record any points that become awkward during work.

Assess both pieces together

An easy-to-wear jacket does not establish that the trousers fit. Check waist overlap when bending and room at the knees separately. Without specifying the top construction, a quotation can treat two differently cut suits as equivalent.

  • State zip-front or pullover preference.
  • Assess the top and trousers in the same fitting record.

Does the same fabric mass identify the same suit?

No. Fastening, cut, component construction and model identity also need to match.
