A riding-position fitting for Night Rider and All Day

Check sleeve, knee, waist and hem fit over riding clothing on KPT-7600 and KPT-8000 while the vehicle is stationary.

Quick answer

A standing fitting is not enough for motorcycle rainwear. Assess KPT-7600 Night Rider or KPT-8000 All Day over the riding jacket while seated on a stationary, safely positioned vehicle.

Sleeve and torso fit when reaching the controls

Check cuff position and shoulder pulling as the arms reach forward. Assess the neckline during normal head movement. Follow the equipment instructions for helmet and hood use; do not accept an arrangement that restricts vision or control movement.

Knees, hems and overlap between pieces

Check knee room and trouser-to-footwear fit while seated. Jacket overlap at the waist can change from the standing position. Night Rider has silver bands and All Day has neon details; these visual differences are not evidence of impact or abrasion protection.

  • Keep the vehicle stationary for fitting.
  • Record fit with the jacket, gloves and footwear.

Does a rainsuit replace protective riding equipment?

Do not infer that. Rainwear and documented protective functions of riding equipment are assessed separately.
