Defining rainwear needs for an outdoor team
Define movement, coverage, layers and documentation for site, field or warehouse work before selecting a product name.
Quick answer
Do not describe a team’s needs using only a sector name. Outdoor duration, movements, underlayers, required coverage and documentation provide a more useful selection brief.
Turn the task into selection criteria
Workers walking, sitting or repeatedly bending at the same site can have different fitting needs. Separate coverage requirements before choosing coats, suits, aprons or booted garments. Record required documentation independently of colour or appearance.
Assess the sample against actual tasks
Record the clothing and movements used in the trial. Do not assume one wearer represents the whole team; assessing cut and size allocation can need several fittings. Prepare the enquiry with model, quantity, sizes and specification.
