T-RAIN / PRODUCT GUIDE
What to compare in women’s and men’s raincoat cuts
Assess waist adjustment, hip room, sleeve length and layering in Stay Dry cuts rather than relying only on the size label.
Quick answer
Choose a cut by garment measurements and freedom of movement. Stay Dry women’s rainwear has a waist cord; the men’s option has a straight cut. The same size letter does not guarantee identical fit.
Waist adjustment is not a substitute for sizing
A cord adjusts the waist, not the shoulders, sleeves or hips. Set it as you would wear it, sit down and reach forward. If the body pulls tight, compare garment measurements and another size instead of relying only on loosening the cord.
Record a team’s cut requirements
For a team order, assess samples instead of assuming one cut fits everyone. Aggregate quantities by cut, size and colour without publishing employees’ personal details. Keeping the same collection makes later size comparisons easier.
- Check shoulders, sleeves, chest and hips separately.
- Try the raincoat over the clothing used at work.
Current model data and technical sources
This table uses the same data as product pages and model TDS documents. Fabric mass is in g/m², not finished product weight. Missing fields require confirmation.
| Model / collection | Materials and fabric mass | Sizes / packing | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stay Dry women’s raincoat | Fabric: Coated fabric · 180 g/m² | XS–3XL 20 units | Model TDS Care instructions |

Is a women’s cut always narrower?
Avoid that assumption. Evaluate the waist cord, hem shape and actual measurements together.
